This isn't really a real world, down to earth approach but hey the info is good. You are trying to reach real people who have diabetes so I would make this a bit more fun and lighten the tone slightly - less robotic like perhaps.

Hmmmm "set less challenging targets"... managing T1D is always challenging - probably more so if your HbA1c is typically higher, and any doctor who sets HbA1c as a target isn't worth their salt ... Appropriate targets are things like "test 4x a day" or "pre-bolus before every meal" - these are things we can directly control, HbA1c is not. I feel like diabetes.co.uk need to learn a bit more about diabetes sometimes 🙄
