I started doing plank the past couple years, everyday, many times, whenever I remember. It's amazing. 69 years old, flat tummy with packs, never know what mean back pain, people don't know my age. So easy, fun, healthy and cost nothing. Love to see myself in the mirror.

I am doing this right after my morning Fasted cardio routine. 3 Sets of 60 seconds plank with 30 Sec rest in between. This is the punchline of my morning workout regime. Good stuff.

Yes I’m 65 I do a set of three for one minute every day but I started out at 30 seconds and work my way up to 60 seconds

Started doing 20 second planks for 5 minutes, (20 second rest) 3 weeks ago.

Now I’m up to 40 seconds for 5 minutes. Back pain has almost disappeared. I still have a belly, but the back pain being less is worth 5 minutes of my day.

I'm not overweight but I'm considered overweight if that makes any sense I'm 275 but it's muscle and fat. I hurt my back twice this year. I tried to do planks a few weeks ago and I shake so bad trying to stay up for a minute. So I tried the ones where my knees are bent and it's actually easier to do that till I build up the strength and lose a little bit of weight.

I walk for 6-7kms then do stretches in the morning and i’m thinking to start doing plank everyday for weight reduction. could you please suggest the repetitions required ?

After I heard you pronounce abdominis incorrectly so many times, and then also say that if you do the plank you will get a six pack, I stopped watching. Please do not spread that sort of disinformation. You need good diet and low body fat to have a visible six pack, that's it.
