how often should you replace ignition coil,
How often do ignition coils need to be replaced ,

In this video, we will discuss the importance of regularly replacing your ignition coils in order to maintain the performance and longevity of your vehicle. An ignition coil, also known as a spark coil, is an electronic component that converts the low voltage of a car battery into the high voltage needed to ignite the fuel in an internal combustion engine. Over time, ignition coils can wear out and may need to be replaced.

It is recommended to check your vehicle's owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended replacement schedule, which can vary depending on the make and model of your car. In general, ignition coils should be checked and potentially replaced every 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
However, if you notice any signs of ignition coil failure such as engine misfires, reduced fuel efficiency, or increased emissions, it is best to have them checked by a mechanic as soon as possible.
We will also show you the step-by-step process of replacing the ignition coils on a Ford vehicle and the tools and parts you will need. We will also provide tips and tricks to help make the job easier and ensure that you get the best performance out of your vehicle.

On a V6 Toyota it's 700$ here in California to replace all. They have to dig into the back of the engine to replace the other 3 that are wayyy in a back. On my Honda it's all up top up front it's so easy.

I have had issues with slow acceleration, smell of gas, poor gas mileage. Tried to find out what could be the root cause of all these issues. Turned out my vehicle had an issue with original ignition coils. Replaced them all myself, and used Nippodenso coils. The car is running like brand new and not stalling. Before replacement, when at a stop, the engine rpm would drop so low that the car would start shaking and was almost shutting off. Gave the car new coils and it’s running like new. No hard starts either. I just pray 🙏 the repair holds up, because I used good quality coils. My car has over 110000 miles. Plus, the winter is coming, I don’t want to be stranded somewhere 7 towns away from my home. Regular maintenance is essential for cars, both mechanical and cosmetic. If you let it slide and run it on a “fuse”, you will break down unexpectedly, it just happens. If it’s a small fix, I do it myself and save money, while reading behind it of course. If you have a Japanese car like Mazda, Toyota, Honda or Nissan, the repairs should be inexpensive as long as you keep an eye on your car. I take the car to the shop to replace parts regardless, even when they are considered “good” after a long time. A certain amount of time passed, replace them, you don’t want your wheels to fall off or the engine blow up. I took the car to one mechanic and told to check the suspension, because I was hearing clunks. He told me everything is fine. Took it to the dealership and they found both control arms to be cracked and showed me the video too as proof. Had them replaced because the vehicle had a little over miles. So long story short, you gotta keep up with maintenance or you’re going to get a surprise you don’t expect. Just saying. You don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to. No pressure.

So i should replace a functioning ignition coil just because i reached 100k miles. Why??
I have 150k miles on mine and they still work great. So why waste the money.
