I had a wisdom and molar teeth extraction last march 09. Then after two days the pain won't go away, its excruciating. Then I can't fully open my jaw. After that, I felt the swelling of my left side where the extraction took place. I really can't open my mouth, I think I can just insert half of my finger. I only gargle with betadine gargle cos I can't brush my teeth. Then I went to see a doctor cos I think its already infected. There was an abcess gums inside my lower mouth to the throat. It was painful, so painful that I cant sleep at night. I took the strongest pain killer given by my doctor. I took antibiotics, no effect. Until the front side of my left ear was already swollen and my left jaw was always aching.. the saddest part is I need to remove my marfel to be able to eat properly. When my lower left part of my ear and neck was already swelling, my doctor decided to medicate me thru intramedications so I was confined for 3 days and the doctor was observing If i need to have a surgery to removed or suck out the pus inside my abcess tissues. It was already covering half of my food and air passage. I did ct scans, gratefully no other abnormalities or mass, just the swollen tissues on my left masseter and mandibullar jaw down to my neck. No jaw dislocation or any jaw problems, but I still dont know why I cant open it fully until now. After how many days after my discharge, the swelling was gone still im taking oral meds and muscle relaxants. My lower left lips and chin still numb and i still cant open my jaw.. huhu its very hard.. im losing hope.. thank God my doctor said I dont need to get a surgery cos the abcess is gone, but its very sad that I still dont know why i cant open my jaw. It hurt when I do try to. Huhuhu please help me.. Im running out of funds due to medications.. I really need your kind advice and tips.. I have one kid, and my senior citizen mom..we dont have anyone else.. I still need to work for them, yet this condition affects everything. How can we possibly live and survive.. situation here is tough due to covid, that is why I need to recover soon. My family needs me. Please help me Doctor Choi 😔🥺

Hi can you plz help me. I had a cyst and impacted wisdom tooth extraction a week ago and i was sedated by IV, local, and some nose drip that they put in my nose. after extraction i didnt see the doctor anymore. i asked the nurse if i could see my tooth and she said no. i was still out of it so didnt think much about it. its been one week and i have nerve injury. now im wondering if they are hiding something from me, is it normal for surgeons not to allow patients to see their teeth and or cyst??? should i do something about this situation? thank you.
