5 days into covid and each space between my teeth bleed a lot when I brush my teeth.

You're right about the link between COVID and gums.

My mother received her vaccine 2nd dose on Friday. She had a very high fever which I thought was a symptom of the vaccine.
Then the fever subsided and for the last 3 days, she has had very painful gums.
We thought it was canker sores due to the fever.
But now we think it's due to gum inflammation/gingivitis.
I think she contracted COVID from the vaccination center which caused both the high fever and the gum inflammation.
We are going to see a dentist tomorrow.
