Kyoukaisen is one of my favorite songs ever made.

The melody of the instrumentals, amazarashi's striking vocals and the fact that it's the opening to one of, if not, my favorite War Story of all time, it all comes together to make such a powerful track that still sticks with me till the day

What a banger. One of the few anime I would rate 10/10. This opening is amazingly good, and so are the ending (Avid/Hands up to the sky in particular). LilaS hit HARD but not as hard without the context, at least to me. ANyway hyped for this one :)

The lyrics to this one are worth reading too, since they do fit the story of 86 really well - and even without that context, they paint a powerful picture. I've been thinking about the last chorus a lot during the last two years with the situation of the world being what it is.

I'm glad you liked it man. Amarazarashi is definitely one of my favorite artist from Japan and I got really excited when I saw this on my sub feed yesterday. I think you should also check out "Kisetsu wa Tsugutsugi Shindeiku" also by Amazarashi, it's from Tokyo Ghoul √A ending 1.

Please please do more amazarashi songs. They're one of the most amazing band in J-music. They actually did Tokyo Ghoul's first ending and it was so popular back when the anime was aired.

The first Opening I was mixed on. But the second was so perfect

The bridge section is very much like Amazarashi to have in their songs, they have some pretty unique melodies. They have great songs, if you were to listen to another I’d say do Oneroom Zyozishi, it’s one of my favorites. In terms of The 86, I can’t wait to hear more of your reactions to its songs! There’s a lot of great ones left
