This fix worked for me. I went to the Hisense support site, entered my TV serial number and was provided the latest firmware version to download along with a readme guide. Crossed my fingers, installed the update and now my TV is working. Thank you for the video.

It Worked!! And probably going to work for you.
I recently tried to reset my 2.5 years old Hisense 55H8G. During that process, my TV screen got stuck with this similar problem. The boot wasn't processing and shutting down every time. Contacted Hisense and after letting know the problem suggested to go to an electrician. Tried every method found online. Didn't work. Then, I saw this video and downloaded the firmware, and tried to install following this process. But again, it failed.
Tried one more time with an older version of Flashdrive as the prior one that failed was USB 3.2 and has exFAT32, so probably the 2.0 USB port in the TV doesn't support completely. And this time, it worked (and it was FAT32). I just had to keep the power button pressed on for a long time. Even I thought the TV went to shut off again, but still, I kept the button pressed.
So suggestions for this problem, -
1. Use a flashdrive that has 2.0 port (3.0 or above, maybe not a great choice for this work)
2. Try to keep the power button on after putting the flash drive on the TV for a long time, even though it looks like the TV shut down again.
3. Try multiple times the same process (even when it worked, it didn't first time, I almost gave up and tried one last time, and it did work)
I already thought to throw the TV in the trash.

So this helps to someone like me who thought the TV was gone.

Thanks !!!
Was missing the on how to put the file on the tv
Putting in flash and top port made it an easy fix
Thank you again for your knowledge 😁👍

Hisense is finally offering firmware on their website. Before you had to contact customer service to get it.I had the same issue with the same 70 inch in this video and got the update from customer service. Then got the 75 inch version of this tv that someone was throwing out so I contacted customer service for the firmware. They told me they have begun providing firmware on their website.I checked and there it was.I downloaded and the 75 inch is now working. You just enter the serial number on their website and the downloads come up.

Thank you for walking us through the fix. I just got a septre x40 with screen that is all green. Replaced the main board but now the PS stopped outputting the 12v, put old main back in, same issue - it was working prior. I do have the 5v standby. I haven't started to troubleshoot the PS yet but was wondering based on your experience, what could b the issue to suddenly have this happen? Nothing is obvious and was wondering if a bad cap could be the culprit? I thought this was gonna b an easy repair 😂😂

Thank you for this video! I took mine apart thinking it was a capacitor issue 99.9% of the videos suggest it, but I couldn't find anything wrong. I was almost going to order some parts to throw at it but I don't particularly appreciate doing that unless I am sure of the issue. Only cost me 7 dollars, because I could find a working splash drive thanks again. Also, big thanks to @wadupholms7503 for the tip on pressing the remote power button while plugging it in was the only way mine would boot into the firmware update.

Hello, I followed the steps, I see the flash drive flashing, but the update page doesn't start. It goes straight to the TV home page and reboots again. Please, any advice? Thank you!!

Sir,
I have the same problem. Have talked to Hisense twice in the past month and each time I was told the usb firmware would be emailed to me and after 3 weeks of waiting nothing. Do you have the link still available with the usb firmware. I would like to have my TV working again.
