I was curious about larger numerators and denominators. e.g. 3 to the power of 895/67. I noticed that in Java it causes an overflow to "Inf" (Infinity). Raising 3 to 895 is MASSIVE. The trick is to convert the exponent to a mixed fraction first. This changes 895/67 to 13[24/67]. Now we raise 3 to the power of 13, then multiply that by 67th root of 3 to the 24.

This is awesome. Someone was asking me how to calculate CAGR. Typically you end up with a very complex equation and this video illustrates EXACTLY why I do it in Excel. lol. Awesome!
