I broke my Patella 1986. I broke my Tibia and Fibula in both legs and left leg has a Titanium plate. Three ankles broke also. This was 2012. So I had to learn to walk again twice. Oh also torn minisci in both knees. I wear good shoes. Everything you said is so important❗I just got a bone density test on left hip. No opioids. I keep going as much as I can.☺️👍💪✌️

Don't consider myself old at 61... 🤣
Was literally running around like a 16 year old 24 months ago, until I stepped in a blind hole (collapsed convert) I found out I can't bounce back like a 16 year old after screws & surgery.
Found myself here watching you to get myself to above average for my age for the last 24 months.
Thank you helping me through rehabilitation and Living Younger Next Year and This Year ❤

I began walking around my block, then eventually built up to a mile, then to 3 miles. I was walking everyday and enjoying the feeling until one day I walked about 4 miles. The next morning I felt a pain in my heel and it felt like I had stepped on rock. About 2 weeks later I went to a podiatrist and he diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis. That was in September and I haven't walked since due to the pain. The podiatrist administered 4 shock wave treatments to my fascia but unfortunately it didn't seem to help. Now I'm frustrated, depressed, and losing hope that I will ever be able to return to my daily walks.

As an older person, I see that a long-standing walking practice has the POTENTIAL to reinforce poor alignment and the consequences thereof. If people understand this, and the timeline needed to correct the alignment- AND the soreness and tension in ligaments that certainly will result -they should be able to ease their mind and not quit. As my tennis coach once said- 'try NOT to practice your errors! Practice doing the motion correctly, so you can feel THAT'. Generally this will involve walking alone and walking slowly, upright and 'straight', for several weeks so you can pay close attention. LISTEN to your feet striking the ground. Hope this helps.

After a recent Ultrasound, I have been diagnosed with Archilles Tendonitis AND Tibialis Posterior Tendonitis. I have now received some insoles. I am also starting Shock Wave Therapy. I will then need to do some rehab exercises. Walking is looking sooo 2024 right now...

Bringt Schockwellentherapie wirklich was? Ich weiß nicht mehr weiter.
