In PC2 you can make your own "speed affect" for chase camera, simply just adjusting the settings, for camera movement, screen shake etc, all is there, and it looks much better when adjusted.

PC2 was almost a masterpiece for it's time, and it still holds up great, unfortunately servers are dead.

Ive been playing pc1 on my ps4 recently, that game from 2014 itself still remains amongst the greatest driving sims imo (i find it better than gtsport, assetto corsa etc)

I've played both, so I can say Forza looks better (and much better at night). However, PC2 physics are superior, and the same goes for engine sounds. I'd even dare say that the first person camera is better too.

The new Forza feels soulless, so I believe that if they made a PC4 with better graphics and more content, it'd crush Forza and probably GT too.

You can change the fov settings in PC2 to make the game feel faster

I really wish Forza would fix their tone mapping so shadows weren't completely pitch black. I briefly tried Project Cars 2 in vr and the night in that actually looked really good and not completely pitch black.

The sensation of speed is due to the fov, notice that Forza has a larger fov. You can increase fov in Project Cars 2 settings

Forza Motorsport doesn't know what it wants to be. you can't play it as an arcade racer because everything is built to look like a professional sim racer. but once you put time into it you realise most of that "sim racing" stuff is either broken or just tedious and not really challenging.

I feel like Slightly Mad found the sweet spot between Grid Motorsport and Forza Motorsport

Project cars 2 on console and direct drive wheel setting correctly, give me the best sensation of racing motorsport and speed.
In many case is superior also Assetto corsa....

I'm on PS5, so no Forza. Still love PC2 which is PS4 version on PS5. Graphics are not as great as GT7, but it feels more like I'm in control/or not in control of the car when a get it right/wrong.
Also, force feedback is sooo much better.
Find myself playing ACC and PC2 the most with a bi of GT7 on the side.

Don't forget turismo, I racing, asseto, R factor..the last one is the only one that will hold the same value is AMS2. YOU KNOW WHY.

Fun fact: It seems that EA has some kind of agreement that only they can destroy licensed cars in games

in term of physics, really guys play PC2 you won't be disappointed the best game ever especially with a steering wheel

It's difficult to say there are seven years of difference. Project cars 2 has a very nice car's game. Not a pure simulator but a really good sim-race.

Forza is awesome but why the steering doesn't do a full rotation, i dont understand why they cant model it, very strange all these graphics but the basics project cars 2 wins

Not sure what ur graphics setting is for PC2 but it can be adjusted to look much better than how you are running it now.

PC2 has a higher framerate. At times FM suffers quite badly on Series X.
