Profit is profit? What a poor advice.

Let's actually break this down.
With $3 profit for t-shirt, and if you want to make at least $5K per month, you need to sell over 1500 t-shirts a month. Good luck with that. Then even if you sell, imagine how much money you would need to run for operation just considering customer service as from those 15000 at least 2-4% of customers would do return.

This is why so many people are going out of business in the first year because of watching poor advice like this. Profit is when you make money. Considering legit business with paying taxes, setting up LLC, spending your time for marketing and branding, spending on web site and other tools, $3 profit would tern into most likely $30 of lost. Better work in McDonald's.

I wish to see the actual numbers of those profits that people talk about. Such a shame!

1. If I am targeting US market from Nz, do I need to worry about sales tax? 2. Also I don't get how ad cost is $10 per sale!! With proper funnel we can keep it under $2 right? That would take time for sure..

Thanks for the info Shimmy, But What about Shipping? you think its better to offer free shipping in the beginning, without keeping a profit margin?

Hi, thanks for all the great info on print on demand! I was wondering if when you make a Facebook page to facilitate ads, can you direct the customer to an Etsy listing? I’ve got started with POD on Etsy as I was already familiar with it. Thank you!

Question so pay per click is a Google ad right? On Facebook it says set a price like $3 per day and it will be seen by x amout of people and you can choose how long you want to extend your ad. Am i right about this?

Thanks for the video! I make most of my profit from the art sell, so having convenient and consistent POD products is currently more important than making a shztload from them or anything 😁

Have you thought about creating a POD cheat sheet? I think it would be really useful - it would be for me, anyway. Combing the key points from many of your videos. Would be awesome :)

Thanks for the video, very interesting. What about shipping? I heard in different courses that it’s better to add the cost of shipping in the product and offer free shipping and that cuts into your profit margins too?

How do you factor in profit for shipping cost? For example, you make a few dollars profit but paying 5 dollars for shipping on each order.

Just sold my first article and lost money for some reason EBay gives everybody free shipping, I spent nearly all night fixing that!
Is 100% markup for POD reasonable for a profit?
