What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

another thing you need to pay attention to is the opponents ping, if they have a high ping, the opponent might fall slower than others, or certain combos might not work, so you have to adjust your timings based off of that

Tip, I saw you running from the variant of thunder kick if u miss, you can m1 them during it and it does 1 damage and knocks u back less. It’s very effective if u know u can’t run from the missed variant.

As someone who already practices all these techniques and is at least decent at the game I still watched this cus this guy may not be the best of the best but his vids are pretty informative and I learned skill with genos through his vid on his rework

another little tip on evasive, if you are like 1 hp and you have got hit by an attack that will soon damage you once you fall down (like saitama's normal punch) you might die, so evasive can save you from that too i saw a lot of people missing that chance to survive so use it if you can, maybe it will save you in a 1v1

i got a few tips for you guys (some specifically for pc players)

1. Side Dash Tips
- Practice (obviously)
- Gradually increase your sensitivity: increasing your sensitivity can be really demotivating especially when its by a large amount, so gradually getting used to sensitivities can help you move up more comfortably (sensitivity can be really helpful for quick turns and things like that so i recommend this as a cheap version of what is next)
- MOUSE PADS AND DESK SPACE!! If you are able to, I highly recommend you get a large, rectangular mousepad so you can have more space for your mouse. A larger mouse pad can let you do things like flicking your camera (this can substitute for higher sensitivity as flicking can pretty much do the same) without any major setbacks, while with a small mousepad (I have a small mousepad and tried a larger one, it plays so much better as you get so much more control) you can hardly do flicks as your mouse may fall off the pad.

2. Fumbling Combos Tips
- When you are going to uppercut, always hold space during the m1s before the final m1. Doing so has a far greater chance of the uppercut working. (basically when you start m1ing hold space and you should uppercut perfectly)
- When trying to ground slam someone off of a ragdoll move like Flowing Water or Whirlwind Kick, always time it so the ground slam lands right as the enemy is getting up or use the ground slam the moment before they get up. (you have to do this because a while back there was a patch that made grounded players incapable of being hit w/ground slam m1s, so you have to time it right now)
- When going for a basic m1 ground slam, you can slowly m1 so you have more time to react to your m1s, thus letting you jump faster and making the ground slam true

3. Techs, When to use them, and How to Prevent Them
- THE MAIN THING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT TECHS IS HOW THEY ARE PRIMARILY PING BASED. NO TECH WILL WORK ON A PLAYER UNDER A CERTAIN PING IF IT RELIES ON SOMETHING LIKE HUNTERSGRASP M1 TECH OR SHOVE M1 TECH.
- With that being said, its highly recommended to use moves normally when the person you are fighting has low enough ping to not be effected by these techs.
- There are no real way to prevent techs once you are hit, but there is some counter play, which mainly consists of side dashing right before a move is used or escaping a combo right before a move is used.

4. Relatively Unknown Move Facts & How They Can Help You
- Some moves have things that happen when they hit you a certain way (ex: blocking the move) and these can either be good or bad for the person using them. I'll leave it up to you to find out the really tiny changes but there are some major ones I will point out.
- Moves like Blitz Shot, Ignition Burst, and Foul Ball (ranged) all deal reduced damage when blocked and will perform the same knockback that plays when hit with a move like shove.
- Flowing Water & Scatter both knock back further when blocked.
- Shove & Hunter's Grasp knockback extremely far back when blocked, knockback a long distance when used normally, and a reasonable distance when used on a ragdolled opponent.
- Grand Slam & Foul Ball both have 2 variants with each variant doing something different.
- Ignition Burst, Machine Gun Blows, & Blitz Shot can all be used in the air for more control and aim over said move.
- Prey's Peril slides you over to whoever hit you during the counter (sometimes breaks)

the thing is, at the higher skill level, the duels are just about "lets see who is more willing to dash first and get dashed behind" which makes the game slower as the skill gets higher.

Also m1 trading is such a gamble sometimes, even against a metal bat.

If you can side dash you can abuse Sonic's passive, not only do you dash almost instantly, it's harder for your opponent to predict or even see what direction you'll be dashing

btw you can also m1 catch, m1 catch is just another way to block someone when side dashing towards you. All you do is m1 right before they side dash towards you, lordheaven made a tutorial on it if you need to watch it.
