I’m not a wedding filmmaker, but a lot of the concepts that go into a good wedding video are useful in ANY video project. A lot of it just comes down to communication, purpose, and preparation.

Hi thank you for your information it was very helpful, but I have a question is my gear good enough? Let me tell you what I have I have the Sony a 7iii a 6500 and I have the sigma 16 mm the sigma 30 mm the Sony 1.8 and the kit lens 28 to 70 I also have an adapter that will allow me to use my canon 24 to 105 f4 L and the crane 3 shooting my first wedding by myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am new to shooting weddings. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the advice ! I'm starting as a wedding filmmaker (thanks to you) and every advice is welcomed ^^ For the music, I personnaly watch my shots first, then I choose the music depending on those and I edit my video over the music, and I think that a lot of wedding filmmaker are missing this point. Thanks again !
