📈 GINVEST 4-Month Update: Gain or Loss? - Should you Invest?

This is a 4-month update on the Php5,000 investment I made a few months ago in GInvest! In this video, I wanted to show you guys an update of what has happened to my GInvest Funds in the last few months, as well as answer some of the very many questions you guys left in my GInvest video.

In this video, we'll talk about the process of placing an order, how to actually track the performance of your investments, how you make money with GInvest, how you lose money with GInvest, what risk appetite means, how you sell your GInvest funds, and the cons of GInvest.

As with any investment, make sure you understand the product and the risks involved with it before you start investing. As I filmed this video, the total value of my investment in GInvest Funds was Php8,753.15. I originally invested 5,000 in March 2021, but I added another 3,500 in May 2021.

I'll say this again: GInvest is a great product, but it's not meant for everyone.

It's important to first assess your goals and your financial standing as they will serve as a guide to the financial decisions you'll make moving forward. I view GInvest as an easy baby step for beginners wanting to try investing. I know how overwhelming and scary it can be, but I think Php50 definitely achievable for so many Filipinos to start growing their wealth. Something that I always say in my videos is the importance of being consistent. It doesn't matter how small you start. What matters is that you get started and that you be consistent 🍞

Ginvest is the best start up for me to train my mind to start investing. If you have like plans to start investment in bigger stuffs like real estate or any other investment but you know you are not yet capable of doing then start investing in Ginvest just to let your mind get used to paying and realizing that investment is not a short term goal. I started with Ginvest early this year. I'm scared even in small investments so after 3 months I take my month out. Then after a month I realize why not to try it long term in a monthly basis as if im paying a bill so it continues from month to weekly investment no matter how small or big I have I put 100 pesos in. Now I'm adding more investment with Insurance and VUL for more long term. I'm not thinking about it as something that can make me rich but something that atleast can cope up with the current inflation. Somehow I don't need to keep paying the inflation as it goes up every year cuz my little investments will cope for it in the future.
