1957 Ford Thunderbird Tutorial Part 2

In this tutorial series, we are going to create a car render from the ground up. We will begin with a set of reference images and end with a car. The methods used in these tutorials can be translated from this specific car to any car, whether it is a sports car, a luxury car, or another type of car. The principals of good topology and watching the lines of the car apply in each situation.

Part 2.
In this episode, we will model out the front of the car. We will re-work the hood scoop a little bit to deal with some inaccuracies in our reference image. Then we will work our way through the nose and the front fender. We will finish up the tutorial by working on the front bumper.

Fabulous little too advanced for me at the moment but great to watch all the you could do a simpler model ( or maybe you already do?) for beginners to teach the most useful keystrokes within blender. I like the idea of building from scratch rather than using the predefined mesh objects. Thanks and carry on the great work :)

Ok I have to say this is by far a very hard project for a beginner like me. I've messed around with blender off and on since 07' and could never really sit down and learn it. Until I found this video I have been determined to learn again and so far my car is kinda shaping up. Looks similar to yours but lol not great like yours. I spent 3 days trying to perfect the hood and now im at the point of your video of trying to figure out how to do the bumper and I'm stumped now. But anyways, Thank you for for posting your videos they are fun to follow along with but I have one request. Could you please move your extrude region over so we could see what buttons you are pressing, Please? Keep the videos coming :)

In blender, you can make the image part of the file so you can select it easily. is there ANY way you could set up a blend file with your reference pictures? I can't get mine to line up no matter what I do.

Hi, It is awesome no one wants to see a tutorial where he build, puts down, build, puts down and so on. It second video and we destroy more then we build. I think you should make this lessons a few time before recording and after that we will receive something straight, but in the end congratulations.!!!!
