What's disgraceful is NOT giving black people the same benefits and support. Just treat everyone the same, and we wouldn't have to give money to certain groups of people. Duh!

But people constantly say systematic racism doesn't exist.

This hits home. Hits hard. I was raised on the farm my black great-grandfather started after the Civil War in the late 1800's. The farm that has supported and fed 4 generations and a community since then. My brother is a black farmer. We're paying attention. Trump has done nothing and will not do anything for black people. 💙🌊

Born on a farm. 71 years old. All White family. All White neighbors. We got farm benefits every year to this day! Blacks are entitled to benefits just like we had!!!

No. They don’t need a law to give wyt farmers privileges because it’s Already built into the American systems. This is the same reverse psychology that is play whenever they are threatened with laws promoting Equal treatment of Black folks! ARGH 😩

I don’t care what color the person is that grows my food. But I do care that they can be successful in their farming and be able to make a decent living for themselves and their families. If that takes some kind of subsidizing then that subsidy should be available to all the farmers who need it. If a certain group has been eliminated from access to those subsidies for a number of years then it’s only fair they be paid for what they missed. It’s like back pay.

My grandfather was a successful farmer who worked his way up from a piece of leased land in the 1930s to owning over 800 acres when he died at age 83 in 1990. He used government subsidies to slowly grow his farm over time but his friend and co-worker, a black man named George, did not have access to the same privileges. It's sickening to me that black farmers are still treated so shamefully when they are the reason food is on our tables.😢

The history and contributions of black farmers cannot be underestimated! I started a farm on the south side of Chicago, on 51st at the opening of Washington Park at Dyett High School. It is now a jewel in the black community!

You want to get rid of DEI, get rid of racism

I can testify to black farmers do not get the same benefits. My father and I got nothing at all. We were told there were no funds. Years later met a person (white) who worked in the office tell me they remembered my dad and I. They said the office did not process our forms and that there were plenty of money's available. People can lie and say there's no racism. They can say we all have equal opportunity, but I know from too many incidents that I have seen or been a part of. I know the truth.

I learned how drive my daddy's tractor when i was 10 years old. Before i learned how to drive a car. How dare you, JD Vance.
My great-grandfather started our farm after the Civil War. The blood, sweat and tears of my ancestors have fed America for decades and through the generations. We will not be eliminated. We wont go back. 💙🌊

Vance has no idea of history. I'm white and not a farmer and in my 60s and I knew about black farmers being denied help until recently, for years. not to mention having land stolen. It's scary that he doesn't know history.

Project 2025 should be renamed to "How to bring back slavery."

For years, black farmers have been neglected BECAUSE OF THEIR SKIN COLOR! SKIN COLOR! Some of them have committed suicide because of the way they were treated!
I am glad that they were finally compensated as they SHOULD HAVE BEEN done all a long
Hatred for others is wrong!
LOVE PEACE AND HARMONY Y'AL ❤

Project 2025 should be discussed page by page until everyone knows what and how it will affect YOU. People are lazy and won't download or even print it. If the media/politicians makes it a priority to inform the public, then maybe some will wake up and take notice. 2024 is a wake up call fir everyone. VOTE VOTE
