I used the "dupe" apres method using the Makartt tips with a random gel base coat and top coat I had. I took them off after a week, but they were STUCK on and could've lasted longer. I just get bored quick. Ha ha. I love everything you mentioned though and your videos! Than you!

Makartt has the best products. I’ve done the Apres nail hack with them. They file down easy, soak off easy even with regular polish remover with a little bit of acetone! In total the hack cost me like $28. Makartt little lamp I bought from Amazon for $20 including shipping. Kiss has upped their game with their acrylic kits. I was about to buy poly gel but was thinking maybe I should start out with dip instead but now that you’ve informed me that poly gel does not soak off imma go with dip. (I know dip requires some filing but can be soaked off toward the end bc I’ve been seeing my nail tech do that but that’s still better than full filing)
