Stop your kids from thumb sucking as early as possible. Ideally stop at age 2. Age 3 at the latest. A lot of people give different ages to stop, but why risk it? It’s expensive to fix, causes bullying, and sometimes braces alone can’t even fix it and jaw surgery is required.

I have buck teeth. I just got done with the braces treatment I have to also check in for jaw surgery. The thing that really sucks about buck teeth is that your lips get so dry and the skin of your lips peels off. It's so annoying!

My friend got her 3d print done and it kept failing and falling apart. Her dentist was like "Okay, what the hell" so they did it again and it still failed so they did a full head X-ray. She had a baby tooth (canine tooth) and it was pushing upward, and she hadn't been to the dentist in 2 years bc her insurance was failing, so they didn't catch it. It pushed the tooth above it into her bone and it (the bone) basically shattered, but with her muscles and everything holding it together, she never noticed other than horrible headaches. When the dentist saw the X-ray my friend said she heard (very clearly): "What..the f*ck..."
