Raw Land to Tiny Home: buying our 1st investment property to develop our tiny home Airbnb community

Buying raw land for a tiny house or glamping site can be confusing from zoning and coding to where is the best Airbnb destination, come along with us as we purchase our first investment property and build our tiny homes from the ground up. We chose a 2 acre creek front property in North Carolina's Smokey Mountains the reasons were primarily based on the fact that this property is has great mountain views, creek frontage & will house 3 different types of tiny homes and be listed on all vacation rental platforms like airbnb, vrbo etc. In this video we explore many different options for our airbnb tiny house journey, we saw vacant land, raw land, abandoned homes a glamp site and even a run down camp ground. We found our diamond in the rough although it was less conventional than we thought, we purchased our first land deal and have started the development process. Now that we have bought the land we have spent every waking hour cleaning, prepping and planning for the bus conversion, tiny house on wheels, and geodesic dome that will connect our guest back with nature and provide a calm serene environment to relax and un plug. Are all tiny homes considered RVs? I thought they had to have some type of certification to be considered.

I suggest you check out the called Trent an Allie… they build their Tiny … he is a builder an very good but just check out their in an outs building. Your in a Wet Area that has constant runoff. Land fills, slides etc. Pay for escalator for the land etc. Then decide how to start safe and not have to redo later. $$ for advice. 🙏🏼🙏🏼. Call the local Agriculture an Forestry Department. Local University can give good information. Get maps they will you good information. Know the land, what’s under ground, type of dirt.
