The way the cop on the first case did EVERYTHING he could to make sure that little boy feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in that moment. He even made sure the boy was having some fun with the lights and the car itself. He should be absolutely applauded for that. ❤️

when i worked for CPS, my favourite kid was a lot like the first one. three year old boy who had absolutely no boundaries or concept of stranger danger. he was allowed to run loose and would often run in to the streets and his mom & her boyfriend (who was a sexual predator, mind you) would get high and ignore him. he was diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder and has really explosive tantrums and odd behaviours, but the sweetest kid in the world. long story short, he’s back with dad and in a loving and happy home, and i’m friends with his dad on facebook so i can keep up with him. ☺️ he was probably the biggest influence in my life to go back to school for forensic psychology.

That first cop is what all cops should strive to be, he was so kind with the kid, and firm with the parents without being overly forceful, I applaud him

My dad used to be a police officer. One story he would always tell me about is a raid he did on crack house. There were 5 kids inside, 2 baby’s had full diaper and the older kids had nothing on at all. After everyone inside had been rounded up and arrested, my dad and his partner spent the next 45 minutes trying to clean them up and find them cloths. My dad said when he got home he just hugged me and my siblings as hard as he could, then spent the rest of the day playing board games and watching a movie with us. Best dad even, I don’t know how he could go about seeing things like that then come home and have the energy to raise us. I love him to death. Sorry for the long text, this video just got to me.

The fact that she only started crying when learning of her arrest and NOT when she was told her son almost got run over tells me everything I need to know. That cop is more upset than they were. This is disgusting.

The last one is absolutely heartbreaking…they really sat there with the straightest face of how they disposed of their own child and lying with the whole story multiple times…I can’t believe there’s actual people like this walking in this world.
