I have a deck over my garage roof, and that roof, which is a built-up roof (BUR), has a leak near the edge. The thing is, i plan to demolish and replace the whole thing in a few years. But in the meantime, I want to replace the deckboards so we can enjoy the deck. Would laying the Trex water drainage system over the existing joists work as a way to make do with what i have without replacing the roof?
