FILM DESCRIPTION:
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

I wish we could've seen the Amazon Olympics in the movie. The rebirth does such an amazing job at creating a mixture of the greek and new world weapon use. My favorite part is when Hippolyta obtains a handgun and uses it on the three remaining amazons. The champion must be able to evade the weapons of man, of course diana is the only one able to counter the bullet with her trusty bracers of submission. In the last frame Hippolyta asks Diana to parry her shot. We don't get to see Diana do so but we see her being praised the champion of the Amazons as she walks towards her mother dressed in her WW attire about to be gifted with the Lasso of Truth.
