I think YOU forgot one thing. If there is no faucet, and the drain is plugged, how can they clean it?!?!?

I've literally cleaned the tub, then something goes on with the drain system in the house( for instance the washer) creating a counter pressure that backs up into the tubs, which can cause this.

How are they supposed to? Its obviously being worked on and there's no water. Who knows if the drains are even in place so they did you a favor by erring on the side of caution instead of running all that much into the downstairs ceiling or basement/joices

I guess that tub/surround was stored outdoors?! (and not in its original box/crate?)
