People call her judgemental but dont seem to take into consideration that she has dealt with judgemental people her whole life. Its like a defense mechanism for her now! She probably doesn't even realize shes doing it half the time.

My niece died 2 months before her 15th birthday. She was the size of a doll. My Mom (Grandma) would take her for walks in the park. People would ask her how old is the baby. My Mom would say 14 years old. Everyone assumed my Mom (Grandma) didn’t understand months old and years old. My niece was non-verbal yet knew 200 signs in sign languages. Rest In Peace Meggie.💕

From a guys standpoint, I can understand the hesitancy about approaching her for a relationship. She's pretty, great personality but no guy want to be looked at as a creepy guy. It's unfair on both sides and unfortunate

It is a double edge sword...She wants 2 fit in and be treated like everyone else but she is in fact different and needs 2 learn how 2 be secure in that. There is no changing what it is and so she needs 2 learn how 2 just embrace it. I also see that she has a way of using it as a way 2 make herself the center of attention sometimes as well. No matter what she is doing, she makes everything about her and then complains when things are all about her. She is still young and has never experienced any real independence. Once she is a little more mature she will have the confidence in herself 2 just own her condition and display the confidence without having 2 fake it. She'll get there. Beautifully spirited woman.

Okay, I'm not sure if she'll ever read this, but about her parents being afraid of letting her use public transportation, has she ever considered learning how to use a pepper spray/mace? It doesn't require much of a training and she has the right personality to use it if she ever has to.

i love joel so much he is so nice and sweet to her even when you could tell other people in the shop were giving her weird looks and he tried so hard to make it perfect given the fact it must of been quite dificult

I think her face looks older than a child and will continue to age. There are many short people. I had a boyfriend who was too tall. Like a giraffe. I am average height. Made my neck hurt, looking up at him. My Grandma was about 4'8", and my Grandpa was 6'2". She stood, and he sat. She bossed him, and he was amused.

Pretty cool! What I don't think is cool though is when some adults speak to her in an authoritative tone like she's a child even though they don't know. Why can't adults speak to kids with the same respect they speak with everyone else, then someone like Shauna wouldn't have to deal with that in the first place

I've always been intrigued what would Shauna look like if she never had her condition.
Could an artist create a picture of what she would of looked like if her pertuity gland wasnt affected?
Recordings of her voice could be manipulated.
I think it would be interesting for Shauna herself & her family.
She is 1 in a million, quite literally! Maybe more!
She is an amazing human being & she deserves all the happiness that's possible & I really admire this woman.
Makes you think twice when saying that eternal youth is a myth.

Joe has major anxiety but when you express yourself as an artist that's your escape and while your there you are your own person so when you met Joe in his element he will be his own person, sad but true
