Loved the song, but I can see why filmmakers cut it. It dragged the pace between Aladdin's capture to the Cave of Wonders and other than Aladdin and Jasmine 2 brief encounters, there wasn't enough emotional real estate to back this beautiful song. So glad the song is released though.

From 1:27 - 1:36 it sounds like a little nod to the end of "Proud of your Boy" from the Aladdin musical and Disney's first draft of Aladdin in the background. Maybe that's just me.
