Luminar Neo Update 1.2.0 is now available and with it adds both Dodge & Burn, but also now HDR with NEW Luminar Neo Extensions. Luminar Neo Update 1.2.0 brings with it the ability to do HDR within Luminar Neo with their first Extension to the software.

Great vid well explained. Is the HDR merge a one off image when it is finished? Is there no way to fine tune as in Aurora or alter "to taste"? Or is what it gives you is what you get?

Sounds great. The most relevant and important update for me remains stability. Neo crashes continuously. I’ve worked out some workarounds to reduce crashing, however these combined with crashes make editing a frustrating and time consuming experience. Apart from that I like Neo (assuming stability issues are resolved), and best wishes to Ukraine.

I have Luminar NEO running version 1.1.1 and it says that is the newest version. It will not update to 1.2.0. Any ideas? I also am running Luminar AI that just updated last week. Also have Aurora HDR.

Thanks for all your Youtube videos on editing in general, Luminar Neo and Lightroom in particular.
However I am having a strange problem at the moment in editing my Nikon Z9 images in Luminar Neo. It does not work on my raw data from Nikon but will work if pre edited in Lightroom and subsequently complete the editing in Luminar Neo latest version. Can you help with finding solution to this issue. Strange, the problem doesn't exist using data from Nikon D5 and D6. Thanking you in anticipation of your help.

Man, I really want to love this product but the fact that I can't even use it as a catalog without it ramping my CPU usage to 100 percent anytime I touch a slider, super delayed edits and crashes I had to resort to only using it as a LR or PS plug-in and even then it struggles. (I don't have a lowend PC either) and to me it seems like they are more focused on drowning the issues with new features.. And now there is a Pay wall for the new stuff when I already bought in? Ah it's such a cool tool which is why this is frustrating.

I will never pay another Skylum software. It took a year to finally get with they promised and now they want you buy an extension. ON1 gave their nonoise and resize free. it's more every time you turn around.
