In the German translation of Skyrim, all side quest titles are puns or jokes. We do have them, but because the German language has pretty big differences in vocabulary than English translating puns is pretty impossible.

Honestly, the problem is that puns rarely translate. The best solution I've seen (as a German), is when games translate the text minus the puns and then put in German puns in addition. It's significantly more work, but it's a great result.

Deep Rock Galactic has German-exclusive puns. There's a mission modifier called "Golden bugs" that's called "Ungoldziefer" in German. The German word for bug/vermin is "Ungeziefer".

German humor is basically untranslatable.
That is in part why german translation and dubbing is such a giant industry in Germany, because you basically have to rewrite the entire script if you want comedy to work.

Thats also why there are movies that change from serious to comedy or vice versa on translation.

And as a German you can watch most comedy movies twice, because the German and the English translation are basically two different movies.

For games i often have german and English.
One as speech and one as subtitles, so i get both jokes in one playthrough
