Armin Shimerman was the voice of Dr. Nefarious in the games, the only one who didn't replay his role was Kevin Michael Richardson, he was Chairman Drek.

Personally, I really enjoyed Ratched and Clank, and not once did I think it seemed like a kids' movie. Then again, I'm a pretty big fan of the games as well, so that might have made me more positive towards the movie.

I recently beat the video game that came out to go along with the movie, and the game features a lot of cutscenes from the movie. Now having not seen the movie I can't speak to the validity of this impression, but the cutscenes from the movie made it seem super clichéd. On top of this, they often felt really awkwardly forced in, making some scenes seem straight up out of place. As a fan of the series, I'd love to see new Ratchet and Clank games not hamstrung by movie tie-ins, especially if they kept the "re-adapting the original games" thing going, since I'd absolutely adore seeing Deadlocked remade.

I absolutely love the games and have grown up playing the series (I'm an old man at 32) and i still want to see this. There's just something about the games in that they're all about pure care free fun that resonates with me.

Ever since 1999 I always been hoping  a Crash Badicoot movie based  off the NughtyDog designs. However the challenge is trying to make a film where crash doesn't talk.

best thing about the ratchet and clank games were the live action commercials of people using the weapons and gadgets from the games.

It's really a shame there's a lot of backlash against the film, because I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I don't even play the games that correspond to it. Yes, I've seen plenty of films, including kids animated ones, and there are some recycled jokes, but there are plenty of funny original ones too. I just don't really get it. Critics call it cliched and unoriginal, give it a 13%, but then give a remake of A New Hope (The Force Awakens) a 93%? Give me a fucking break. The movie was overall a fun animated film. Simple.

I will say I am actually pleased with this movie. Not because it is good, but because what the movie is being disliked for is a step in the right direction. No longer are we getting people straight up saying "This video game movie is shit made by some guy who will box his critics to a bloody pulp" or "This is Mario?!" It atleast feels like the games! The fact that now the issues with this movie are more just issues with its blandness as far as movies goes is such a relief for me. It definitely tells me that video game movies are getting closer to being good.

I'm a big Ratchet and Clank fan but I'll probably watch it when it comes out. I don't see it staying in the cinemas for very long.
