Ratchet & Clank Movie Announcement - Teaser

Animation studio Rainmaker Entertainment has joined with noted independent production company Blockade Entertainment to produce Ratchet and Clank, a CG-Stereoscopic animated theatrical feature film based on the bestselling PlayStation® video game franchise and developed by acclaimed game developer Insomniac Games.

I’ve heard of some trailers being better than their own movies. But this is genuinely ridiculous, this teaser feels more Ratchet and Clank than the actual movie.

It had a better understanding of the character of Qwark too.

The worst part is this movie had all the potential to be one of the great gaming based movies out there. It had great character designs and it was based off a successful game franchise.

But a bad script ruined it

I love this teaser, mainly because it reminds me of that Daffy Duck cartoon "Duck Amuck", but with the 3D animation software/menus instead of pencils and erasers.

Also, "Where's the Dubstep?!"

These games were my childhood. To see a movie, written and animated by Insomniac, based on the original game! Oh man, I can't wait!
