🔥The BEST Router for Wireless VR and how to set it up. (Air Link + Virtual Desktop)

Got a Quest 3? You kinda NEED a Wifi 6 router if you're playing wireless VR through Air Link or Virtual Desktop. It's so cheap and easy to set up that if you don't have it, you're trolling.

🔹I recommend the Meta Quest 3 because it got much thinner and has 2x the graphical power! There's really no competition for the price.

There's been some interesting progress and talk with Virtual Desktop and the Quest 3 supporting Wi-Fi 6E and AV1 and all. While I believe that my current Wi-Fi 6 setup is good enough for me, I'd love to see more people talk about how much of a difference 6E could make for wireless PCVR. Hopefully this is something that AirLink could support soon!

Just want to say if you (whoever you are :3 ) think about Asus RT-AX55 it will work just perfectly for you. I’ve got two of them: one for my home network (laptops, phones, tablets and so on) and second one for VR only and it was perfect for 4 months straight.
Regarding setup for VR router - first, ethernet cable from router to PC (PC shares internet connection), 5 GHz channel is dedicated for PiCO 4 only and 2.4 GHz is for 10 slimeVR trackers (jumping between 2.4 and 5 GHz channels is not allowed). So, headset (Virtual Desktop, HEVC, hight settings) and 10 trackers and it works great. Do not remember any problems at all, i do not even have to restart router.

How good is driver4VR with wii Remotes on Virtual Reality? Is is worth or there's better alternatives for this?

I'd like to know many details as possible, because i coulnd't be able to connect my Wii remotes via Bluetooth to the computer after many times trying.

i usually get 20ms on air link, but i spent more on the router than a quest 2 costs and it handles every device in my house too. its a quad band router with future compatibility for wifi 6e headsets.
it is overkill, but that is the point.
it is a asus rapture axe16000, it works very well but it is the most expensive.

whats a good wifi speed/plan to have 2 people playing vrc on same network? neither of us are connected to the router. by myself I can play at max everything even additional settings in virtual desktop no problem even using a very poor avatar in a packed world, no lag. but when we both try and play vr together, unplayable. I have 5ghz and a 1g plan currently. our router is the cheap basic shit they give u when u get internet installed for the 1st time. Any recommendations for us to be able to play vrc at the same time? assume price is not an issue.
