A Canadian folk group called the Wyrd Sisters sued for $40 million for using their name. The book called the band "Weird Sisters," after the witches in Shakespeare's Macbeth, but the movie renamed them "Wyrd Sisters." So Warner Brothers got rid of the name entirely before the movie came out. In a deleted scene on the DVD, Flitwick introduces the band as "The band that needs no introduction." Still, the Wyrd Sisters sued to stop Canada from getting the movie. An Ontario judge rejected this motion.

This channel is inspired by Harry Potter Theory. I grew up loving Harry Potter and always wanted to come up with my own theories and ideas about the lore and world-building of the series. I hope you enjoy this theory video, and subscribe if you want to see more!

If the films hadn't changed it, it wouldn't have been a problem! Good thing they didn't change much(!)
