I got the Steam Deck Dock, hoping to use it for desktop use, thanks to the DisplayPort 1.4... but then after I got it, I found out that I hadn't really read the specs, because despite being DisplayPort 1.4, it won't do 4k at greater than 60hz. I've gotten so used to 120hz, even on the desktop, so there's no way I'm going back to 60.

Do you have Steam Deck? I'm very interested in getting one and I really dig that they've left the KDE there apparently pretty much untouched, but I'm quite curious that why is terminal there essentially as root account without password to my understanding. I wonder if it results in issues if you invoke normal user or even add password to root. I mean are I wonder are Steam's own scripts relying on "their" privledges. I'd assume so? If I get one I'd actually like to use it as desktop too docked as it's quite nice hardware overall 🤔
