if you don’t have the “add person” go into settings > go to calendar > go to accounts > go to iCloud > then turn on calendars. IT SHOULD WORK !!

I have a question I share a iCloud with my mother but I don’t want to anymore. Is there a way I can make a new iCloud account, connect it to my phone and back my phone up to that new iCloud (Right now only half of my phone is backed up to the shared iCloud because there’s not anymore storage left)

Any way to sync two iCloud calendars to each other? Like say, my work calendar (in iCloud) entries sync'd to my personal iCloud calendar automagically? Yes, i can see the entries in one spot, but I want them to sync to each other so my personal entries block time on my work calendar and vice versa without me manually having to enter them.

what if that other person is in a different country (diff time zone)? what happens then? Is the calendar capable of adding the same event on their phone in their time?

When I try to add someone to my calendar on my contacts, their name appears grey and I can’t select them. However, I am able to text them normally. Any idea why this happens?

My calendar notifications are acting strangely and the suggestion I got was to remove my husband from our shared calendar and then add him back on (I don’t always get a notification when he adds an event to the calendar.) My question is, when I do that, will events that he added remain on the calendar or will they disappear?

great video and thanks for the info. i do have a calendar related question. i have had an iphone for years and years and love it...periodically, i will have a notification indicator on the calendar app on my phone indicating something in my inbox. a red number will appear, usually a 1. when i go to the calendar and hit the inbox to retrieve it, the appt. will be there with the heading "siri suggestions" and further below will say "found in app". once i hit ok, the indicating notification or the red 1 goes away. i find this a great feature that i would like to utilize more often but i don't know how. whenever i go to the apple store and show them, they seem as clueless as i am...any insight or help you can give me would be greatly appreciated...thank you and keep the videos coming...
