I have always shot on film cameras and decided to buy the xt50 today its definitely a bit overwhelming as ive never owned a digital camera before, your video helped a lot but definitely a lot of learning comes from using the camera, hopefully i get some good shots along the line😂

Thanks for the walkthrough on the X-T50. I also appreciated your excellent companion video on setting up film simulations on the X100VI.
It is too bad you only had a loan of the X-T50 as I am encountering some differences in the way custom film recipes can be stored. On my unit the select custom setting has Nothing Selected as its first selection along with room for 7 custom saves. I think this means that you do not have to use up a slot to reset all custom settings to the defaults. The new film simulation dial plays a role in this function as well. I think as long as you have the dial set to C you can access and add/edit your custom profiles, otherwise the film dial selection will override your custom recipe.
I hope that you get the opportunity to review setting up film sims on the X-T50 and post a follow-up video. Thanks very much for the other assistance with button assignments and customizing the Q menu. Cheers.

When I have manual settings my film simulation dial C won't go back to normal. Basically it has a film simulation on it but is there a way to have no film simulation on the C dial. Please help

Is the x-t50 as customisable as the x-t20? The x-t20 had the d-pad to customise, so what does this one have instead?

Is there any way to change from AF to Manual focus via the button settings? I find the M-C-S button on the front truly UN-INTUITIVE because you have to flip the body around to see the setting. Is there any way to change it in settings?
