One question: What do you think about grinding directly into the pf? Is there a reason for not doing it?

Hello, just received my niche zero and having an issue with grinds retained in dosing cup dt static. I have utilized the rdt method and it has helped a bit but still a good amount of grinds still left. What am I doing wrong?

Just curious, why do you prefer the funnel to using the dosing cup in the portafilter directly?
