I heard this song in the 80's for the first time, it was an advert for something but I don't know what, all I remember is there was a woman in a red swim suit swimming in a pool and this song in the background.

What a heart renching movie that was, makes you really appreciate your kids and wana hug them and keep them safe. Brilliant movie idea and i always loved ' Song to the siren' only ever knew it as a dance tune lol, lovely version in movie !!

I LOVE this..
I lost my fiance when I was 22 he was 21...he came back to me 6 weeks later, and actually lifted me...I have no problem with telling now...(long time ago!) but subsequently, I was banned from watching 'Ghost'!:) ....
I soooo connect with the film and love the song.

The name of the song is Song to the siren, i don't now who is the singer but i know that the original version was recorded by Tim Buckley. Tim's version is better than this by far!(sorry for my bad english)
