I begged my mom to buy me hood hop. She did because she loved “tipsy” and thought it’d be appropriate because j-kwon was a minor. But boy let me tell you !! That boy was cussin so hard on that album. 😂 the looks on everyone’s faces in the car 🤣😫😭

Might be messy but at 31, I would still scream *ONE, HERE COMES THE TWO TO THE THREE TO THE FOUR* . I was a teen when that came out. 😭

9th grade at age 12. I feel like his intellectual abilities should've been nurtured past rapping. 🥺

His family were some very uncaring folks, good gracious! I wouldn't have financially supported any of them since they couldn't be bothered with a child family member living on the street.

There's no telling what was really going on behind the scene. These artists that don't blow up or only have one hit, are usually the ones who refuse to sell out.

With myself being born and raised in Saint Louis I am not surprised that his family did not support him UNTIL he became a success. I do not deal with the majority of my relatives back in STL to this day. The Midwest is no joke with the level of ignorance that goes on there.

J Kwon is a real cool dude. We met back in the day and hung out, he called me big sis at a point. Never judged him and still wish him nothing but the best!

My former boss told us that he was homeless, living on the street at 12 years old. I was in shock because it seems to be a rare occurrence in America, most homeless kids live in foster homes, not on the streets (usually) also, he is a Black man too. He never went into detail as to what lead to his homelessness but common sense tells me that his family (parents and everyone else in the clan) failed him....
