I love that you guys never force veganism down people's throats, and you instead influence people to eat more vegetables/ plant based/ healthy meals. That's how I like to approach it, and people respond better to that.

And a way to eat more veggies is try to make your food more colourful (and I try to always have something green, even if it's just some wilted spinach). If your plant based meal is more colourful then you probably have a range of good vegetables with different nutrients! :)

Once a month, I buy a fruit or veggie that I haven’t tried before. And so far, I’ve been pleased with choices. I know it’s a vegetable, but who knew kohlrabi cut into sticks was really good with hummus? Also, try it in a new way....slice radishes on a pizza...gives a similar spiciness like pepperoni.

A good tip is sometime after you've bought a bunch of veggies is to prep them all at once, so they're washed, chopped and waiting in the fridge to be tossed into something. Yes, it still takes some motivation to prep them all at once, but for me, it's way better than prepping every time I make a meal. And if I don't have a meal that can easily incorporate veggies, I can just steam some with some seasoning as a side dish.

This has helped me enormously: This year I subscribed to a weekly vegetable ration from an organic vegetable garden by three awesome gardeners that I know. Sometimes I join for the harvest. Getting these vegetables grown with love by people that I know, makes them so much more precious. They taste better and I do not want to waste any of the beautiful produce. So I eat a lot more vegetables!

My moto has been to keep food simple and easy to prepare, your recipes are great for that. My top tip is to freeze grapes and eat when a craving occurs, although I know longer feel hunger or hungry the way I used to. I try to follow WFPB no oil. Keep the great videos coming. I have taken such inspiration from you guys, thanks.

This video was really helpful. I'm planning on trying to get 5+ fruit and veg into me each day this week, as plant-based diet doctors say that the current five a day is actually too low!! I have IBS that's triggered by too much fruit and dried fruits, so it'll definitely be veg heavy but I do want to increase my intake of fruit as well. Currently can't eat it daily, but hoping to train my intestines to accept this! I've been Vegan for a year and has done wonders for my IBS.

Love it!! I like to eat baked fruit in the fall and winter. I throw my apples and pears in the oven sprinkled in cinnamon and cardomom. Zucchini noodles are fun! I also batch chop and cook a bunch of veggies weekly. Tonight, my mom and I cut up a bunch of veggies and made kale chips, roasted carrots, squash, sautéed cauliflower rice, and made some quinoa in the instapot and steamed potatoes in the instapot as well. Now, I’m stocked for the week! Also avocados (mashed with lemon juice and S&P) are my BFF- just wish they were grown locally and didn’t have to be imported.

Recently we bought the Oxo Good Grips produce saver boxes for the fridge. Prep loads of veg for the week and they don't go soft or go off and there is always raw veg to snack on or ready to cook with so no excuses that we are too tired to prep after a day at work. Also the same boxes with fruits and berries washed and ready to eat. It makes it easy for the kids when they open the fridge looking to snack to make good healthy choices.

I found that smoothies & meal prepping my veggies for the week helps a lot

Putting different fruit and greens in a smoothie helps me a lot, especially if I have days when I can barely eat something.
Also, developing my own recipes helps tremendously. It adds a fun factor and helps my imagination a lot 😊

I keep the fruit out on the furniture! The sideboard, the kitchen table, the dresser in the spare room all have fruit bowls on them because, if I set foot in that room, I am then mindful that there's good stuff to eat instead of yearning for bad stuff because the good stuff isn't visible. Plus, it makes you feel abundant to have fresh fruit scattered about your place! TFP : )

So true! Simple choices, and don't put it in your trolley if you're going to feel bad afterwards.

A bowl of chopped fruit, with a topping of ground flax seed and pumpkin seeds almost every morning. No more cereal mix and milk.

I recently slid off the bandwagon, but am getting myself back on again by watching more of these encouraging videos ...thanks, guys! The seasons are slowly changing here in the US, so I'm looking forward to more hearty veg meals coming soon. :)

Whenever I feel like I'm lacking on veg making soups does the trick, especially in the more wintery weather. Also houmous is great for veggie snacking

This was great and super encouraging! My trick is to eat greens as much as possible. I find that if my focus is on how to incorporate greens into a meal, then the rest of the meal automatically seems to become more veg-heavy. It also crowds out other less healthy foods if you use leafy greens as a base for whatever bowl you're making or a filler for wraps, etc. Greens for the win!
