A fire in a residential neighborhood brings out the police chief to help save the family inside. Smoke was mostly billowing through the roof when Elk Mound Police Chief Chad Weinberger banged on the door. At first he was hesitant to force the door open because of the barking dog. Eventually two people inside got out safety. Inside Edition Digital has the harrowing rescue video.

I wish this kind of teamwork between firefighters and police officers was more common.

They said everybody was accounted for and it was a 4 residence. 1 at work, 1 at school and 2 on the street. But what about the barking dog inside? Doesn't the dog count as a 'body'? Is that the dog saved at 0:44 ?
