Hoi4: What if Germany Continued to Try Diplomacy?

Welcome my friends to a new series that we are working on. What ifs. There are many and they do not have to all be historical such as this. What if Germany had tried to still be diplomatic? Well Lets see

Idea: go Imperial Germany but instead of focusing on tanks and army, focus on creating a navy that can rival Britain’s and create a proper colonial empire to fulfill Wilhelm II’s dream

German political policy or "goal" was very malleable during the time of the war and changed depending on what was currently happening. Poland was originally going to be a natural ally because of their stance against communism and Russia, as well as the recent Polish-Soviet war. UK was pushing the Polish government for war because they were afraid of German influence. Germany and Pilsudski's plan was to build a railway through Gdynia and create an international zone but he died before that could be accomplished. Hitler even attended his funeral to pay respects.

Im still pushing to see you cover Oswald Mosley, so once again, ill say "What if Britain went fascist under Oswald Mosley?". I honestly think hes an interesting figure in our history that doesnt get talked about, and I think youd have a lot of fun with it too. Failing that, ill also suggest doing the kings party route in "what if Edward VIII never abdicated?"

What i love in your videos is that instead of just conquering the world using an alternate path you are doing a lot of rp in there which is much more interesting and fun to watch

if you tag switch between countries and need to continue the game just type in: ai + the tag of the countrie you´re playing for this game: ai ger and the ai wont mess with your divisions etc

i cant get the image of hitler trying to talk things out diplomaticly, and when the go wrong he just puts a gun to their head, "what about now?" out of my head

You forgot there is focuses to align Turkey, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway to the Axis

Instead of trading Slovakia for Danzig and Pomerelia, Hitler could have tried to trade Upper Silesia. Or, alternatively, offer to create a buffer state which both Poland and Germany have free trade access to.

Using OTL and a little imagination its not hard to imagine the following border changes

1 Eastern Karelia to Finland (was promised OTL before Barbarossa)
2 Romania gets land East of Besserabia ( like OTL)
3 Poland annexes Lithuania (Poland wanted a port, hard to imagine funny mustache man wouldnt care to much about Lithuania for Danzig)
4 Germany trades Western Savoy for South Tyrol and Trentino for western savoy( OTL italy didnt do to good in invading France, if it goes the same, why not do a swap).
