California Garden Becomes a Food Jungle! Vegetable Garden Tour, Gardening Tips & more!

In today's video, we begin with all the harvests from our food jungle garden including Amaranth, Apples, Bottle Gourd, Beans, Bitter Gourd, Beets, Butternut squash, Cabbage, Cucumber, Eggplants, Figs, Hummingbird tree leaves, Hyacinth Beans, Ivy Gourd, Lemon Guavas, Okra, Cantaloupe Melons, Okra, Onions, Peppers, Ridge Gourd, Strawberry, Swiss Chard and Tomatoes.

We also take a tour of the California Garden in Irvine, Zone 10. We look at all the things for you to do this month including planting seeds for fall vegetables in August, sowing seeds and a lot more in today's episode of California Gardening!

Beautiful. You can harvest the amaranth seed heads too, to cook and eat. Preferably before the seeds harden, but since the seeds are edible, it works at any time.

I loveee karela! Bitter gourd sabji is great is some chapati! Chop and soak them overnight so that they get less biter and chop one potato, fry them with a small onion and dry chilli and turmeric. They taste amazing !
