Yes, just get everything out of boxes and put away. You will change and rearrange later. I reorganized my kitchen 3 times after moving in 17 years ago and I just did it again. We are ever evolving. Go with the flow, don't stress, you have all the time in the world. Your outfit was adorable.

My recommendation is to start organizing the kitchen like how you grew up with some obvious tweaks! I did that when I moved into my house with my hubby and it helped me to realize that we flow differently in my house then I did in my parents house and now the flow makes much more sense for our movements!
