Показать описание
The wrong message to the wrong person at the wrong time can be a real nightmare!

But you can now retract or erase a SENT message in Facebook Messenger really easily, which can be a real lifesaver!

You can unsend or delete the message by going into the facebook messenger app and go into the message thread you want to erase.

Next press and hold on the message you need to delete and at the bottom of the screen the remove option will appear.

Click this and the next pop ups to remove the potentially harmful message.

Thank me later :-)

What I want to know is why does facebook notify the recipient that you unsent the message. I unsent it because I changed my mind and did not want the individual to know that I sent something in the first place.

I was already 5 minutes into regret when I found this video. If you only have 10 minutes I think it would be helpful to get to the point a little quicker. I just made it. Thanks.

Why does it till show "unsent message." I'd prefer to have it gone all together; a true delete... Thx for video, mate. I. can unsend a message any time but only remove from me shows up. Friends say at their end a message was unsent so they still know I decided to not send something as I think you are saying.

Just 2 let you know you can delete after 10mins .you just swipe left 2 right over the message and understand it comes up remove . Then delete 👍🏼

Well that's one thing I don't have to worry about. I don't use FaceBook, and I don't have a phone to get myself in trouble with. LOL Twitter lets you delete your tweets anytime you want, so there's no time limits. One reason I prefer Twitter.

I sent a message to someone a week ago, and today i clicked "remove" and it gave me the options "unsend for everyone" and "remove for you". Why did it give me the "unsend for everyone" option? The message is a week old... I'm doing this on a laptop, so maybe the 10 minute rule only applies to when you are on a phone?

If I sent something and then deleted before they could see it can they still read it in there notification?

The 10 minute rule sucks. Facebook is not needed anymore. I'm going to delete m account and keep it private only for an extra storage for photos.
Looking to remove myself from Instagram and Whatsapp because they are ownedby Fb who I do not trust at all.
