Half Double Crochet (hdc):
Same thing, but instead of pulling first 2 loops, you pull all three and thats it.

I just found that out and figured this could help someone like it did me. :)

My aunt learned from her grandmother and now she's teaching me and this is the first thing i learned. We call it "punto alto" but for ours we make three more stitches (catenelle) instead of two to continue the work on the next row.
