Magic Ring Double Crochet for Beginners | Step-by-Step Magic Circle Tutorial

In today's tutorial I am showing you the very first crochet skill needed to crochet in the round - the magic ring. Also known as the magic circle, this skill is required for beginners to be able to crochet items such as hats, granny squares and more.
In this video I am going to show you a very simple technique to form the magic ring or magic circle, and then how to double crochet (treble crochet in UK terminology) into it to start your pattern.
I have done this at a beginner's pace, so hopefully this slow motion tutorial is helpful. Let me know down in the comments if you have any questions and if there are any beginner's tutorials you would like to see.
