Teach yourself to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations. That’s the key to life. If you need help to start work at a restaurant. Not a fast food place but an actual restaurant. Work in the front of house where you’ll be forced to talk to people. Before you know it you’ll learn to talk to people and embrace the awkward feelings you get.
