After a lifetime of bullying and introversion, I had a mental breakdown and just started doing whatever I want. I no longer fear talking to people. I think I was an extrovert all along, but one that got beat into submission by a society of bullies.

Confidence is only partially earned through self acceptance. You need to find confidence in something in order to be confident in your flaws. It can be anything.

"How can a man be brave when he's afraid? - asked Robb to his father

I have always loved this train of thought. Confidence isn't about being a loud "alpha" wanting attention and treating others as that's called ego. What confidence means is to be honest with yourself and working to overcome your fears. To stand up and do what you feel is right to do even if you are afraid, and to not care about what others will think when you do.

Just be honest. I needed to hear this.. I've tried being consistently appear "flawless" and that MO I've learned from my upbringing has been a detriment and a liability.

I've watched this video 3 times back to back. This video helped me to drop that habit on the spot. Some of us need to watch this on repeat to soak in.

Every man old and young need this video. Thanks for the vid 😎👍🏾!

Im a bodyguard. I got to know Tom quite well about 12 years ago after he'd returned from the States filming Warrior. With me he was very down to earth and easy to talk to. True fact, he'd even considered becoming a bodyguard himself before his acting really took off.

What do I fear?
I fear stagnation and lack of progress.
I fear never reaching potential and being average.
I fear being forgotten... The past... Yesterday's news.
I fear giving up and being passed by, going softly into that goodnight.
I fear letting those I love down, letting myself down.
I fear settling, giving in to the "that's just the way it is" mindset.
I fear dying without leaving my mark.
I fear not feeling these fears anymore and just floating along.
These fears feed me, they nourish my drive.

I love my fear.
