The first time Michael did his routine, people probably laughed and Michael felt proud. In typical-Michael fashion, though, he refused to stop before his joke went too far or went on too long, resulting in the unfortunately awkward situation in the scene.

0:18 In this scene, Michael is actually doing good at improv, and the girl is not. In improv, the person who starts is supposed to set the scene and the characters for the other person in the improv. By just skipping and singing, she does not set up the scene or explain who the characters are. This leaves Michael in trouble because he has no idea what is going on. Luckily, he is able to save the scene by creating the situation that he is a detective who is arresting her. This is a good save on Michael's part against a crappy improv student.

Just a reminder that when Michael introduces his Blind Guy McSqueezy character in season 6 he mentions that “the women in my improv class hate him” which means that Michael has been continuously terrorizing his classmates for over 4 years

1:40 The way Ken Jeong's character's eyes light up and he gives a little smile when Michael finally seems to have given up on the secret agent stuff, is just fantastic. He's happy that the improv class can get back on track, and he's happy that Michael has stopped embarrassing himself, or at least has seemed to. Great little character moment from Jeong, for a bit part.
