I want to be more clear on the tax credit and how it pays out. How a credit is different vs a deduction is a credit is a dollar for dollar reduction of your tax bill. If you owe $7, 500 then you will net out...assuming you qualify on income etc., however if you owe $2, 500 you aren't going to get a check for the remaining $5, 000. That is a different kind of credit.

I took delivery of my Model Y on 8/25/2022 I missed out on some IRS credits and such so I feel for the people that bought Tesla’s to get a tax credit only to miss out on the Tesla price reductions. What bothers me the most is how large they were from 10-20% come on. I can understand why Elon has done this but it will cost him some brand loyalty. I sure do hope Tesla reaps the benefit from all of this in the form of sales, stocks. I love my Model Y everyday I drive it it just gets better and more fun to drive. Thanks for your videos CFTesla I look forward to watching them

For all tesla buyers Q4 2022 we need to make a petition to tesla. Tesla should give us Free FSD

thanks for all the great videos. Like to start by saying ridiculous pricing yes I am extremely pissed to put it mildly a difference of 20, 000 on a model Y performance with the Tax incentive crazy. Elon, please listen help people with this I would say give them some incentive either through dollars in a future bye would be one thing. Also, another thing would be to give them free, supercharging miles for the next couple years. Do something this is something in your control. You have to know people are not going to be happy with this. as far as FSD beta yes issues when you get into a lot of different side streets, etc. hopefully they get that resolved it didn’t used to be like that.

Regarding the FSD beta, yeah, it's definitely having problem getting into turn lanes when it should not and other times not getting into the turn lane when it should and has lots of room to do so and the navigation is even saying to turn but the car ignores it and goes straight. I'm not sure exactly what the developers did but the current version has definitely seemed to take a step or two backwards.

@9:38 "If you bought a [Tesla] in the last 12 months....how are you feeling right now?"

Pissed.

I picked up my M3P in mid-December of last year, _within 30 days of this price drop._ Now, I get that Tesla has the right to charge whatever they want. But I spent months researching my car purchase and Tesla in particular and a price drop like this is unprecedented. I figured there would be some softening in pricing due to the worsening economy, increasing competition, and slackening demand, but I did not expect the value of my luxury car purchase to get reduced by 20% overnight. And, judging by the number of videos by Tesla superfans expressing shock over this move, people telling me I'm an idiot for "not seeing this coming" are Monday morning quarterbacks who happened to click the Buy button at the right time.

I'm still very happy with my car. But I do feel I got taken for a ride, especially when you consider that Tesla was pushing HARD for people to take ownership in December when they knew these priced cuts were coming.

it was 30% cut overnight if you consider tax credit for Model Y....it took them almost 2 years when they raise the price....

I’m still satisfied, i got mine July 2021 and i feel i greatly benefited having it right before the huge gas price crisis

I'm a newbie to FSD-Beta, had it running for about 2 weeks now. Problems I see regularly include 1) tentative speed control on rural roads that have full lines, center and fog; 2) hugging the center line even if approaching cars are also close to the line; 3) slow startup once light goes green causing car behind to honk me. I ease on the accelerator to coax it back from those speed hesitancies and slow startups but once it gets the go-ahead it tends to blast forward to reach the speed limit. In general it drives like a teenager just learning to drive clutch but thinking they are the hottest driver on the road. There's no calmness to the town driving although the freeway is very good except for a random Phantom Braking. All in all FSD Beta is still Beta.

I got mine in March of 21. The all in price was 50, 672. Several months after the prices started going up. I could have gotten it a thousand dollars cheaper if a I got it a month sooner. It’s all about the timing. I didn’t get any tax rebate either. Should I be upset that I didn’t get a rebate? It would have been nice but it is what it is at the time of purchase and you have to accept it or don’t make the purchase. I would be very upset though if the price dropped one day after purchase. That would piss me off!

How do we get that tax credit. I have a model Y and paid a lot for it. Not right 😡

The inflation reduction act seems to be doing just that. Reducing prices.

No interceptions since the Xmas update on FSD. The only mistake was it wanted to move me out of a backed up left lane, into a dead-end right lane where up ahead a Fire truck was parked. It is too bad it can't see that far ahead, but would require a telescopic camera?

took delivery 12/12/22 because Tesla pushed my delivery date up 2 months and made me take delivery in 3 days or they would cancel my order. Now 1 month later people are paying 20k less than I did. I like the car but probably won't by Tesla again.

Looks like the prices went down in Canada as well.

I was under the impression that the tax credit could only be applied to the amount of tax you owed over the amount you paid throughout the year. That is to say that if I were to owe $3500 to the IRS at tax time, all I could use of the $7500 would be $3500. If I owed nothing at all or was due a refund, the tax credit would not be available to me. Am I dreaming or is that correct?

FSDBeta is software, it would cost nothing to Tesla to give it to those who bought a car in the last 1 or 2 months.
This would keep most people content. At the same time, if more people use FSD the faster AI will learn. I would gladly volunteer for the cause. 😊

I’m definitely having the same issues with FSD Beta. Also getting weird phantom breaking. When I’m driving down a main road past a freeway exit on the left and there is a car sitting at the stop sign, FSD does a hard brake. Good way to get rear ended. Coming back past that exit when it’s on the right, it never brakes. It’s been very frustrating lately. I did see in a different Video blog that they made a significant change in the stack and they are having to rewrite (or re-train) everything. Isn’t seems like they need to do more thorough testing before releasing or lots of bad press will result. Especially since there are so many new people coming into the FSD program.
