I am thinking I may have to get the skillet as I need one that has sides to it. I shamelessly say that I’ll trust what Stanley attaches his name on.

These are beautiful pans. Sadly, the colored ceramic line scratches too easily according to W-Sonoma purchasers. If you like the style and want ceramic, go with the stainless line. Be aware that ceramic loses its non-stick properties quicker than Teflon (and the safety issues no longer exist as of ~2011 as they eliminated all toxic substances). The all around best material remains stainless steel, as long as you know how to cook and clean them (they must heat up first before cooking if you want them to be “non-stick” using minimal oil). Also, don’t overheat any pan (425F max on stove) except for treated cast iron.

I’d like any feedback on cooks who bought these and how did they perform and maintain. Easy to clean? Any chipping? Do the handles get hot?

Had to read the comments to get more of the story. I think that payment doesn’t sound so bad if it’s only 15% of his take home. Toyotas are great and last forever. But if he has a bunch of other debt, it makes it sound like an awful decision. Hope he gets better!
